2nd Class pupils were learning about ‘Harvest’ in school this term. They discussed the importance of food and also how some people do not have enough food to eat.

To try and help, 2nd Class arranged a food collection for Helping Hands, a local organisation based in Edenmore. They collected non-perishable foods such as tinned food, pasta, etc. Their collection was so successful that they managed to fill a whole car with donations.

Thank you to Second Class for organising this food collection, to all our families who supported it and to the Student Council members who helped pack the car (even with their Mad Hair Day  hairdos!)

Thanks also to Conor, our photographer who captured a few shots on camera!
